200A (Library of the Health Sciences, Chicago: Level 2-B: east area) Capacity: 46
Description
200A has flexible seating for up to 46 (seating only; 35 at tables). There is an integrated Crestron presentation system consisting of two presenter displays (north wall) and four participant displays (east/west walls). There is an integrated sound system, microphones and speakers, within the ceiling. There is no camera or recording capability. The hardware and software are managed by the Library. There are no desktop computers for presenters or participants. There are outlets in the floors for participants to bring their own devices.
As it is an active learning classroom, the furniture is designed to be reconfigured to the needs of the session. Currently, unused chairs and tables get stored in the rear of the room.
Dining policy for all spaces:
If food is consumed in the space, please clean up after your group and dispose of the contents in the garbage bins provided for you. Please be aware that a separate eating area or extra clean up may be arranged, depending on the number of participants and space needs of your event. If your dining needs change after event approval, please let us know before your event. Please contact us as early as possible for the room reservation request to allow us enough time to arrange clean-up work.
Not complying with dining policy or not contacting regarding changes to dining plans may result in a cancelled reservation or inability to make future reservations.
To make your request, please select the time, including set up and tear down, that you are interested in using our space. Once you have selected times, you will be directed to a form asking for additional information. A library administrator will then contact you to follow up.
